Rotherham College
Rotherham College was established in 1853 as the Rotherham School of Science and Art.
In 1981 it became the Rotherham College of Arts and Technology and many locals still refer to it as RCAT. In 2004, it merged with Dinnington based provider Rother Valley College.
Under the RNN Group, the buildings that remain are the Eastwood based building with its newer Wentworth facility and older Clifton building.
There is also a fine dining restaurant attached to the College โ The Wharncliffe โ which is staffed by students along with the Inspire Hair and Beauty Salon that is part of the College’s commercial outlets.
