RNN Group Apprentices Receive Local Awards

RNN Group (made up of campuses including Rotherham College, North Notts College and Dearne Valley College and University Centre Rotherham (UCR)) apprentices received two awards at the recent Rotherham Advertiser Apprentice of the Year Awards.

The awards that our learners won included the ‘Supported Internship’ award won by Idress Munir who is now an RNN Apprentice. Having completed his internship, he progressed within Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council where he secured an Apprenticeship and is now one of our learners.

Another RNN Group learner, Abeer Asad, won the Apprentice of the Year in the Advanced Category.  She is a Business Administration Apprentice also with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.

Additionally, in the Intermediate Category, another learner in the Joinery Department, James Stretton, was awarded the highly commended. James is an apprentice for Equans.
