Over the years, the RNN Group has developed sound relationships with schools across South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire to help school leavers decide on their next educational step across our Colleges Rotherham College, North Notts College and Dearne Valley College, as well as at our University Centre Rotherham.
We have supported schools with careers events, mock interviews, assembly presentations including specific T Level presentations, open event promotion and taster events, especially supporting Year 11 students with their next steps.
Last year we were proud to launch a brand new initiative to further develop our relationship with schools: The Schools’ Partnership Programme.

Why is it such a support for schools and students?
At the RNN Group, we prioritise our Partner Schools by guaranteeing students from these schools a place at one of our Colleges.
Learners still need to achieve the grades to be accepted onto the course of their choice and go through the usual application process. Offers may be suggested for other courses or programmes if the course chosen is not right for the learner or the grades are not met.
What are the benefits?
We also offer the following special activities to Flagship Schools:
- Bespoke Taster Days with funding for transport
- VIP Tours
- Golden Ticket invites to our Open Events
- All Schools’ Partners feature on our website too; you can find out who are current partners are and see if your school is listed.
We will take into consideration learners with High Needs and Plans and what is right for each learner using our Flexible Learning Experience (FLEX) department to support them and encourage them to develop ready for the next step.
