Free Short Courses for Adults this Summer

During the student holidays, we will be hosting a summer school for adults with a wide range of short courses and taster sessions taking place throughout July and August.

If you live in the Rotherham or Nottinghamshire areas and are aged over 19, you don’t have to travel far to have a memorable summer.

Rediscover your love of learning, top up your skills and escape the boredom with a skills-based course taking place right here on your doorstep.

Ranging from one-hour workshops to week-long courses, our short summer courses are taught at our College campuses: Rotherham College, North Notts College and Dearne Valley College.

Not been in education for a while? Don’t worry!

These short summer courses are relaxed and friendly, with lots of hands-on learning. You’ll be taught by our experienced and approachable staff in an informal setting within the Colleges.

Best of all, our short summer courses are completely free for all adults regardless of your income or current employment status.
