Information for employers

Boost your business and futureproof your organisation from future skill gaps with experienced apprentices.

The economic impact of COVID-19 has, unfortunately, affected a number of industries meaning that some businesses have had to make the tough decision to make their talented, hard-working apprentices redundant.

However, that opens up opportunities for forward thinking business like yours. From developing talent to strengthening practical skills, apprenticeships are a great way to boost your business.

Employing an apprentice is a great way to boost the skills in your workforce and make an immediate impact.

Hereโ€™s why:

  • Youโ€™re employing an apprentice that is eager to learn and has gained experience on-the-job, theyโ€™ll hit the ground running and are work-ready
  • They futureproof your business โ€“ address any skills gaps or an ageing workforce now
  • Funding is available to cover up to 95% of the cost of an apprenticeship for non-levy paying businesses
  • You may be eligible for incentive payments of up to ยฃ2,000 per apprentice

When you take on an apprentice with us you wonโ€™t be left to figure out the best steps forward for your business and your apprentice. We will work with you to identify a mentor for your apprentice. Weโ€™ll provide mentor training and will provide regular updates on your apprenticesโ€™ progress.

Weโ€™re currently working with redundant apprentices from a range of sectors including: construction, engineering, motor vehicle and business services. These talented apprentices are eager and ready to work in a business like yours.
