Happy New Year to everyone from the RNN Group! We hope you have had a wonderful break with friends and family.
It’s 2024, so expect more!
Here at the RNN Group, there is a lot happening this year to look forward to, including a new Construction Centre at Rotherham College which means all learners will be based at the main site from September 2024, as well as a new T Level delivery facility at North Notts College in September too.
Dearne Valley College has got in early with a brand new Health Suite and Animal Management Centre all ready for new learners to the College to take advantage of next week. They will be starting to deliver Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) in this new suite of rooms to support the driver for developing higher skills throughout the region.
The Group is also working on developing our Higher Education (HE) provision for the future and will be looking to speak to members of the local community to get your feedback on our HE offer we should be developing. You will be seeing a new campaign in the early part of 2024 to support this focus and ensure all local community members who want to access HE education know about our offer and how we can help.
Our free lunchtime webinar series continues that we launched in 2023, with a session on Apprenticeships on 6th February and sessions on HTQs on 5th March and T Levels on 7th March during National Careers Week.
We will also be launching business breakfasts at the Business Centre Rotherham with the first one scheduled for Thursday 14th March.
We have open days coming up for prospective families and learners in January and March to come along and speak to staff about our courses and programme, enjoy a tour of our facilities and chat with learners. Find out more about our open event dates for each College.
We are also working on launching termly e-newsletters to parents of learners, employers and stakeholders to keep you up to date with all the RNN Group and College news. Communication and feedback from our stakeholders and members of our local community are very important to us and we want you to be up to date with all things RNN.
There are so many more things happening in 2024 – these are just a few highlights – so keep following and watch this space.
