Careers at RNN Group in National Careers Week
Next week is National Careers Week (NCW) which is a one-week celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK.

The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people develop awareness and excitement about their future pathways.
NCW is a dedicated week every year allowing schools, colleges, universities, alternative provision settings and organisations to work towards. Itโs backed-up with free high-quality printable, downloadable, digital and video resources for educators to support planning and delivery.
The resources and activities are available all year round so schools and colleges can make careers activities come to life.

RNN Group’s plans for National Careers Week
RNN Group is taking up the challenge to support the reasons listed above – to support our learners – with a week of activities including careers fairs on each campus, workshops, guest speakers and support sessions.
Monday – We will be promoting all that is available for learners to get involved with during the week as well as ask tutors to help by signing up learners to these activities; workshops and activities will start to happen too.ย
Tuesday to Thursday – Dearne Valley College will have its careers fair on Tuesday, Rotherham College on Wednesday and North Notts College on Thursday. We are delighted to be welcoming lots of employers, local stakeholders and representatives from many organisations taking part as well as our employer academies and partners too. These fairs will be held in the main communal areas at each College starting from 10am and finishing around 2pm.
Throughout these days there will be talks on powers skills, customer service, higher education, personal brand, career talks across a range of disciplines from music to estates management, aviation to health, from football to esports and from apprenticeships to drone technology among many others!
There will be support with interview skills, CV workshops, and careers guidance generally.ย
