Salon Offers at the Group
In the last few months, the RNN Group has launched a commercial services website which promotes our incredible commercial outlets and offering across the Group. This includes our fine dining restaurant, the Wharncliffe, located at Rotherham College, which you can read about in next weeks blog leading up to Easter, the Fitness 63 Gym at Dearne Valley College which you can find out more about in our first April blog and our Salons across the Group which features in this week’s blog.
Our hair and beauty salons here at RNN Group offer a range of treatments at feel-good prices. For just £10, you could enjoy a lash lift, full set of nail extensions, cut and blow dry, or Indian head massage.
Looking to spend a bit less?
Our talented hair and beauty students can do a luxury manicure for £8, an express Dermalogica facial for £6, or a Swedish back massage for £6.
We have three hair and beauty salons to choose from; one at Rotherham College, one at Dearne Valley College, and one at North Notts College.
All treatments are provided by our hair and beauty students who are fully supervised by an experienced lecturing team.
Training the next generation
The College salons are a classroom for training the next generation of stylists and therapists. By welcoming paying customers, it gives students excellent work experience opportunities to put theory into practice.
Each College has its own salon and they are open to the public throughout term time. They are equipped to a high standard and students use products from well-known brands such as Dermalogica, Wella and Halo gel polish.
Our training courses have a big focus on customer service skills as well as the technical skills needed, thisi is to get students ready for the world of work. Students must complete reception duties as part of their course, learning how to take bookings and payments using an electronic system that most commercial salons use.
