Janet Pryke
Governor
Janet joined the Board in December 2019, she is the former Chair of the Board as well being a member of the Finance Committee. Janet is also a non-executive director for the National Fluid Power Centre Ltd. She has worked as a portfolio CFO/Finance Director for the past 7 years across a variety of different businesses of varying sizes including public sector organisations. She has a wealth of experience in mergers and acquisitions, high growth companies and businesses requiring strong cash management and turnaround support. Janet has over 30 yearsโ experience in senior finance roles across Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
After leaving school Janet studied at one of the RNN Colleges and is delighted to be part of the board in the organisation that shaped her early working life. She qualified as a CIMA accountant in 1997, using her earlier college qualifications as the entry requirements to the accountancy body. In her free time she helps other charitable organisations including Homeless and Rootless at Christmas (HARC) in Sheffield. HARC is a pop-up charity that starts when all other services close for the Christmas break, providing hot meals and a place to socialise for individuals who would otherwise be alone over the festive period.
